Our general recommendation is to begin at 0.5–1.5% by weight of total formulation and adjust upward in 0.25% increments based on sensory evaluation of your finished product. The exact ideal rate will depend on your carrier type, application format, processing temperature, and target flavour intensity. Boosted Line profiles are intentionally designed to perform well at lower rates, which is both a quality-of-use advantage and a cost advantage. One important note: at higher concentrations, some terpene compounds can have a peppery or numbing effect on the palate if overused. This is normal terpene chemistry behaviour and a sign that the usage rate should be reduced. Start low, evaluate thoroughly, and scale up deliberately.
